Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a Permit Coordinator. 1) ok 2) Provide section detail through the existing rockery and proposed deck footings to show that the proposed deck footings are not placing a surcharge on the existing rockery. Also show rockery on the elevation views. Clearly show extent of rockery and retaining walls shown on the site plan. Currently they are shown the same as the topography lines. Also, specify if rockery is existing or proposed. If proposed provide top and bottom wall elevations. 3) ok 4) ok 5) Now that the walls are shaded the windows and doors are no longer visible. Please clearly show all windows and doors. On the floor plans clearly distinguish between existing and proposed walls both interior and exterior (i.e. shaded walls, etc.). 6) ok 7) ok 8) ok 9) ok 10) ok 11) ok 12) Calculations provided specify use of nails and the Building Code R502.2.1 specifically states that ledgers can not be attached with nails subject to withdrawal. Please provide new calculation using lag bolts or lag screws. On the deck section view specify ledger attachment to the residence. Minimum conventional size and spacing is 318" x 4 %" at 3" o.c. without calculations stamped and signed by the Engineer of Record. Also, ledger is labeled as 2x8 and the joists are 2x10. Please increase ledger to 2x10 to match the floor joist size. 13) ok 14) ok
