During re -review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
pians/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.

3) Response says it was redlined but I was unable to locate on either set ofplans. Show size and
location of proposed attic access.

9) Calculation was provided for triple joists but triple joists are not shown at all point load
locations. Please clarify. There is a point load on the corner of the cantilevered floor joists from
the 4x8 roof beams. Provide calculations to justify.

11) Calculation is needed for cantilevered beam. Please provide. Clarify how DB 1 on sheet 9
(porch roof beam) will be supported at each end. Calculation is not for a cantilevered beam and
calculations are for 6x8 and 6x 12 and plans have 6x6 or 4x8 options. Coordinate plans with
calculations or provide additional calculations.
1.2) It is still unclear where the beam starts and stops and if a point load is placed on the
cantilevered joists. If so show triple joists at this location. Otherwise clearly show posts or
multiple studs and how all loads are carried to bearing. Specify how loads from 3 1/8x 10 1/2
GLB are carried to bearing at deck side. It appears to place a point load on the cantilevered floor
joists. If this is the case provide calculations for floor joists to justify that they are adequate to
carry additional loads.
13) Response states (4) sistered rim boards and this is not shown on the plans. I still don't think
that will apply to the area I am specifying. That area in question is not the side that runs
parallel with the joists but the opposite end where they would frame into the joists. Please
clarify. Specify how deck joists will frame into cantilevered sunroom floor joists. If ledgered off
this is non-conventional and calculation are required from EOR.

16) Still need signed for expoxy bolt installation. Special inspections are required for the following.
Complete the enclosed special inspection agreement signed by the owner, the general contractor
and the special inspector and submit to the City for approval prior to issuance.
