Provide written responses to each comment and where changes can be found on the plans. Submit 2 sets of revised plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Permit Coordinator. 1. Previous Items 3 & 4 regarding dugout building design: a. Structural engineer must either stamp Sheets L1.1 and L1.2 for dugout construction (since engineered design) or provide all dugout details as part of his structural calculations (that match those on the landscape plans) which are stamped and signed. b. Throughout details on Sheet L1.2, coordinate cross-references to correct detail number and plan sheet number. c. Note size of bolt/nut on detail 6/L1.2. d. Specify footing size and spacing for the support posts, as well as depth of post embedment. 2. Provide detail or cut sheet of accessible gate hardware to be used. It must be easy to grasp with one had and not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist to operate (ICC/ANSI At 17.1 Section 404.2.6). 3. On Sheet L1.0, dimension size of concrete pads for wheelchair seating. (previous item 6) 4. Previous item 7 regarding surface material for accessible path of travel has not been addressed. The sample of "Infield Mix for ADA Topping Course" that was submitted to our office also does not meet the requirements of ICC/ANSI Al 17.1 Section 302. 5. Previous item 8 regarding the accessible path of travel at the curb still needs to be addressed. On Sheet L1.0 at the southeast corner where the accessible path intersects a curb, clarify the "existing curb cut". Is it level with no change in elevation? How wide is it? Is there an existing curb ramp? Show that it meets ICC/ANSI A117.1 section 406.
