RE: Plan Check #2006-0039
Project: Aegis -- Plumbing
Project Address: 21500 72°a Ave W
During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment and where changes can be
found on the plans. Submit 2 sets of revised plans/documents (or "redline" plans currently on file with the
City) to Theresa Umbaugh, Permit Coordinator.
1. Where additional fixture units are being added to a stack, provide a schematic showing DWV sizing and
fixture units so that existing and proposed drain lines can be verified. Cross reference on the plans
where each schematic applies. Where no additional fixture units are being added to an existing stack, no
additional sizing information is needed, but clearly show where these areas are on the plans.
2. Note the pipe material for the DWV system.
3. At new underground drain lines, note the slope of the line.
4. Show potable water line layout where new fixtures will be added or altered. Note the pipe material. If
the incoming water pressure is greater than 80 psi, a PRV is required where the water line enters the
building. If a PRV is provided or if there is another device on the system that creates a closed system,
expansion tanks are required on all of the water heaters. Note on the plans.
5. Show/label the cross -connection devices on the plans and provide manufacturer's cut sheet for each.
Commonly commercial kitchens will have soap injection systems at the dishwasher, ice machines,
carbonated beverage dispensers, etc.
6. Provide gas piping sizing calculations, pipe sizing and material.
7. There are some hand written notes on Sheet A3.lc that GA WP1051 to be used in lieu of WP3260 for
the 1 -hour fire partition. If this is the case, the architect must submit a revision to the City for approval
prior to the framing inspection. Be aware, assembly WP 1051 will require additional inspections by the
City Building Inspector to verify the installation of the laminating compound. In the meantime, cross
them off the plumbing plans since they do not apply.
