Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a Permit Coordinator. 1) ok 2) ok 3) ok 4) ok s not been addressed. It is undersized and must 5 212107 rafters were changed but ridge still has be designed as a beam. Roof framing as shown still does not meet conventional construction. Because the existing carport support (posts and beams) are being replaced with double top plate and 2x4 walls, the roof framing must meet current code. As shown on the plans the rafters are over spanned, ridge is undersized and must be designed as a beam. Either 1. Revise roof framing to meet conventional construction, 2. Provide calculations stamped and signed by a Washington State Licensed Professional Engineer to support existing framing or 3. Keep all existing carport supports (posts and beams) and just fill in wall to retain existing structural support -no structural changes to the existing building. Provide complete existing roof framing plan showing ridge, rafter size and spacing, existing carport posts/beams etc. to check spans and verify header loads. 6) ok 7) ok
