During re -review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.

3) Still need one on legal size or smaller paper. Provide reduced site plan scaled no larger than
1 "=20' on no larger than 8 1/z" x 14".
4) Please show sewer easement along the East and South property lines. Contact the
Engineering Department for questions on location of easement. Please clarify datum point.
The site plan show sewer lid and the height calculations specifies storm drain.
5) Please note on the site plan that a separate permit is required. If choosing to do a grinder
pump outside the building please contact the Engineering Department regarding
requirements for gravity flow to the sewer lid. A sewer pump is shown on the site plan. Please
show location on the floor plans. If located inside the building or within 2' of the foundation
wall a separate sewer ejector permit is required (See attached handout). 1f located greater than 2'
of the building show exact location on the site pian and contact the Engineering department for
requirements.

l l)According to the top and bottom wall elevations on the site plan and retaining wall plan on
sheet 3 at one point the wall exceeds 4'. Please provide calculations from Engineer of Record
for proposed retaining wall. Ifgrades are revised to remain under 4' please revise
reinforcement schedule to reflect only 4' wall (i.e. cross off 4'-6' and 6'-8' walls) and change
topography and top and bottom wall elevations accordingly.. Engineer of Record to provide
detail and calculations for site retaining walls. Detail provided is for a top restrained retaining
wall. Provide detail call out for new wall on the site plan where wall occurs.
12) Still need. Provide letter. from Geotechnical Engineer of Record stating that they have reviewed
the plans and that they are consistent with the report recommendations.
13) Still need. Special inspections are required for the following. Complete the enclosed special
inspection agreement signed by the owner, the general contractor and the special inspector and
submit to the City for approval prior to issuance.
• Soil Bearing Verification
• Excavation/Grading/Site Preparation including temporary cuts
• Placement of Fill and Compaction including foundation wall backfill
• Temporary shoring if required
• Subsurface drainage installation including foundation drainage and under slab drainage
• General site monitoring by Geotech of Record
• Temporary and final erosion control
