During re -review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.
1) 3/20/07 Still need both proposed covered porches labeled. Label both proposed covered
porches on the site plan and outline the second floor addition as well.

4) 3/20/07 Still need ventilation calculations and vent locations on the plans for this area.
Provide crawlspace ventilation calculations for small crawlspace area under the stairs and show
size and location of crawlspace vents on foundation plan.
5) 3/20/07 still need all detail call outs referenced at their location on the plans. Reference all
details to their location on the plans. Cross out any details that do not apply to this project.

7) 3/20/07 On sheet 6 specify what beam is to be used for beam A. Structural calculations
provided call out 51/8 x 9. Note on plans. Provide calculation for header in the master bath that
is carrying a point load from the girder truss. There are also point loads on two of the main floor
bedroom headers. Provide calculation for these as well.
8) 3/20/07 Specify what beam is to be used for beam E. Structural Calculation provided call out
5 1/8 x 16 %. Note on plans. Revise beam calculation for beams A, C and E to show that all
point loads were accounted for.
9) 3/20/07 G was removed off the plans but now nothing is specified for beam F. Please add this
to the plans with supporting calculations. Provide beam calculation for beam marked G
(nothing was specified on the plans).
10) 3/20/07 Point load from ridge was removed. Please clarify how all loads are being carried to
bearing at this area (Ridge, beams, etc.). Plans are not clear. Provide beam calculations when
necessary. Provide calculation for double floor joist in master bedroom with point loads from
headers above.

15) 3/20/07 Still need. No Response given and now all shearwall, holdown, drag strut, etc.
information is missing off the new plans. Please re -add all applicable information to the
plans. Specify hover interior SW -1 in the garage is carried to bearing. According to the
foundation plan there is no foundation support under this wall. Please clarify.
16) 3/20/07 Will need prior to permit issuance. Special inspections are required for the following.
Complete the enclosed special inspection agreement signed by the owner, the general contractor
and the special inspector and submit to the City for approval prior to issuance.
