During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment and where changes can be
found on the plans. Submit revised plans/documents to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator.
1. Clearly show on the plans which walls are existing and which walls are proposed.
2. Provide detail(s) showing how the proposed non-bearing walls will be anchored to the roof deck above
for lateral bracing per TBC 1621.1.2 (ASCE 7 Section 9.6.2.8.1).
3. Provide seismic details for suspended ceiling system.
4. Clarify on the floor plan that a portion of the customer counter/reception desk will be accessible per
ICC/ANSI Al 17.1 Section 904.
5. Dimension minimum 12" maneuvering distance on hall side of door 105.
6. Relite glazing must be 3/4 hour fire rated (IBC Table 715.4) and is not permitted to be wire glass since
safety glazing is required (WAC 51-50 2406.1.2). 3/4 hour fire protection rated window assemblies will
be required and must contain label with fire rating and manufacturer (IBC 715.4)
7. Clarify on the plans that all door hardware for the suite will be accessible.
