Dear Applicant,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that the
following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue:
Parking/Site Plan:
1. Because you show only one parking space in the garage now, we need to make
sure that you can still “fit” the two required parking spaces on site. The code allows for tandem
parking in single family zones pursuant to ECDC 18.95.030.B (below). Please contact Jaime
Hawkins in the Engineering Division if you have questions about parking space requirements. Please
provide a “to scale” site plan that shows that you are still able to provide two parking spaces on your
property.

On a single-family (RS-zoned) lot, one tandem
space may be provided in order to meet the minimum required parking
on the property. \[Ord. 3344 § 1, 2001; Ord. 2794 § 1, 1990\].
Conditional Use Permit:
2. Thank you for submitting a conditional use permit application for a home
occupation (hair salon), file number CU-2007-3. The only item that I still need from you is a “to scale”
site plan, for the same reason mentioned above. Please submit your site plan at your earliest
convenience so I can continue to process your conditional use permit application. To make this
easier for you, I have downloaded and printed out some information on your property from the
County’s website – see enclosed plat map, which shows the dimensions of your property. Please
also use the enclosed site plan handout to assist you in your creation of the required site plan.
Thank you for your cooperation. Please provide a written response to the above mentioned items. And,
please redline your plans to reflect any changes – or, if you are submitting new plans, please submit 3
