Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a Permit Coordinator. Site Plan 1) Provide top and bottom wall elevations for front concrete wall. If greater than 4', provide stamped and signed plans and calculations for proposed wall. Sheet A4 2) Per submitted Energy Form the whole house fan should be 150 cfin in the laundry room. Please revise note 37 to say 150 cfin rather than 100 cft, 3) Note 4 is specified at the kitchen stove. Please specify that this is to be a minimum 100 cfin fan. Sheet A5 4) It appears that there will be a site built shower. Provide shower pan construction detail including materials, drain, slope, etc. 5) Fireplace in master bedroom must be direct vent. Please revise note 33 to specify direct vent. 6) Please add note 36 (50 cfm fan) to master bathroom. Sheet A7 7) Revise calculation for 132 to include point loads from above. Specify hanger for girder truss side and provide calculations to justify that larger posts and/or footings are not required under the other side including loads from B4. 8) Provide calculations to justify that larger posts and/or footings are not required under B3. Also calculation for 133, 134, 135, B6 and B7 are for Versalams and plans show Paralams. Please revise plans to match calculations or provide revised calculations. 9) Clearly show how 136 on the interior side is carried to baring (calculations are for a 12' span). If a point load is placed on 4x12 beam below provide calculation for 4x12. Please also address for 137. 10) Provide calculation to justify that larger posts and/or footings are not required on the exterior wall side .of B8 (7837#). 11) Provide calculations to justify that larger posts and/or footings are not require to support B8 (8969#) 12) Calculation for B9 is for a 15' span with point load in 2'. Plans appear to show point load at 15'. Please show all posts or multiple studs at this location to show how all loads are carried to bearing. Will there be a point load on B10? Please clarify and revise calculations as necessary. 13) Clarify how B13 at the exterior wall side is carried to bearing. It does not line up with post/footing below. If a point load is placed on 4x12 below provide calculations including point load. Please also revise calculation for B13 to include point load from B9. 14) Please clarify how B14 at the stair side is carried to bearing. 15) Specify garage door header size of single car garage side. Also provide calculation including point load from girder trusses. Sheet A8 16) Specify connector for B 1 to the girder truss. 17) Provide calculations for the study and bonus room headers including point loads from girder trusses (6x8 typical?). Also, truss to column connector was called out at this location and it will be connected to a header. Please clarify. 18) Specify beam to be used at Bedroom 2 and provide calculation with point load from girder truss. Also clarify how this is carried to bearing (will it be supported by B7 below?). A truss to column connector is also called out at this location. Please clarify. 19) Please clarify connection where girder trusses intersect near Beam 1. A 6x6 post is called out but they appear to be hanging from each other. If posted down it appears to put a point load on B 12 - revise calculation and if hanging please specify hanger. 20) Detail 6/A8 is called out at the corner of bedroom 4. There is no detail 6 on this sheet. Please clarify. Sheet A9 21) R403.1.3 requires all vertical rebar to have a standard hook. Revise all foundation details to reflect. 22) Please reference these details to their location on the plans. The only ones I was able to locate were 5, 6 and 7. Detail 4 is from the EQR's calculations and should be specified on the plans. Page 2 of 2
