Regarding application for the permits at 9504 and 9508 Edmonds Way NE, the plan review comments included a
request for determination at to whether the planned exterior improvements give rise to the level of "rehabilitative
construction".
For your information, the cost of exterior improvements to the "building enclosure" is estimated to cost $48,000. The
market improvement value of the building according to Snohomish County Real Estate Tax Records for the current
tax year is $2,106,800. The cost of the exterior improvements are 2.2% of the market improvement value of the
building according to the assessors office, which is less than 5% of the market improvement value of the building,
hence the construction is not considered "rehabilitative construction".
