During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.
1) Please add the following information to the site plan. Please redline plans or resubmit three (3)
new site plans scaled no smaller than 1 "=20' and one on paper no larger than 8 %2" x 14".

■ Specify size of shed and label distances to property line.
2) Show location of chimney on the plans. Per M1001.15 masonry chimneys shall have a minimum
2" clearance to combustibles. Specify on the plans how this will be obtained around the
chimney.
3) Provide typical stair detail showing rise, run, handrail, etc. complying with R311.5. Also, show
how the stairs will be framed. Plans appear to show the ledger continuing out but nothing is
shown to support it on the other end.. Engineer of Record to justify.
4) Provide complete gravity load (beam) calculations for all beams.
5) Engineer of Record to provide calculations for detail A/S3. This detail does not meet
conventional construction.
6) Specify size of footings. Details say per plan and I was unable to locate this information on the
plans. Please specify.
7) Engineer of Record to specify ledger lag bolt size and spacing and provide calculations to
justify. Also clarify if ledger will continue along the narrow portion of the deck. Nothing is
shown on the plans at this location.
