Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a Permit Coordinator. 1) Please add the following information to the site plan. Show location and extent of swimming pool fence. Even if no changes are made to swimming pool a complying fence is required. See Edmonds Community Development Code below. 2) 3) 4) ECDC 19.00.005(C)(7) Section 3109.6 Fences and gates. The swimmingpool area shall be completely surrounded by a substantial fence at least six (6) feet in height. No openings shall be greater than two (2) inches, and a self-closing, self -latching gate shall be provided, with an inside lock inaccessible to children aged five (5) years or younger. The gate shall be securely locked when the swimming pool is unattended. Any swimming pool not presently fenced as required by this section shall be fenced within sixty (60) days of this code adoption. You may redline plans or resubmit three (3) new site plans scaled no smaller than 1 "=20' and one on paper no larger than 8 %" x 14". Provide beam and deck joist calculations for proposed beams and joists supporting hot tub. General specifications on the plans show 50 pound total load for decks which is normal without a hot tub. Provide calculations to justify additional weight of hot tub. Ledger attachment into concrete is non -conventional. Provide calculations for proposed ledger attachment type, size and spacing.
