corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised

7/16/07Access easement must be clearly labeled (tune, width, location, etc.) 6/25/07 New site
plan specifies a CB in the access easement. Please clearly show location of access easement
and CB on the site plan. For the datum point specify what part of the utility pole specifically is
the datum point (i.e. base, nail, etc.).

6/25/07 See below new comments based on breezeway detail provided. Provide complete
framing/foundation plans for proposed breezeway connecting the proposed garage to the
existing carport.
■. 7116107 Still need attachment type,_ske and spacing as well as what it's attached to (rim
joists, studs, etc.) Specify ledger attachment type, ,size and spacing. Also note what itis
attaching to (i.e. garage rim joist?).
■ 7/16/07 Provide all dimensions and post locations on the framiniz plan. As it is I am still
unable to verify spans. Provide framing/foundation plan to verify spans.
N 7/16/07 See response from BuilAag 0fftcial Below. Specify size of existing footing.
Additional loads will be placed from breezeway roof and must be verified. They will also
need to be exposed in the field far the inspector to verify.
7/16/07 Still Need. Specify how full depth blocking will be done at the existing roof line
under the new posts to transfer loads to existing post/beam below.

10) 7116107 Still need framing at the stair clari ted. 6/25/07 New: 7x14 PSL framing at the stairs is
now missing off this plan. Please add framing or clarify proposed stair framing and provide new
calculations to justify.
11) 7116107 Please update all reference on sheet 216 from the Uni orm Buildin Code to the 2003
International Residential Code. Please note that Vou application expires 7/3-1/07 and can no
be renewed. Also as ofJuly 1 2007 we are under the 2006 International Residential Code so
i a new -application is needed laps and calculations will need to be updated to the current
codes.
7116107 Buildi Official Response to item 46 above:
In response to our meeting at the counter last Wednesday July 11, 2007 I have reviewed the pictures
of the existing carport as well as the proposed breezeway plans. Based on the size of the breezeway
(10' x 10') and that we can not verify what is supporting the posts, you will either need to expose
one of the footings to verify that they are 12"x12"x12" minimum poured concrete or hire a
Washington State Licensed Professional Engineer to verify that the existing concrete is adequate to
carry loads from the proposed breezeway. OOT4��
