Project: Interior Remodel
Project Address: 325 Walnut Street
During re -review of the proposed plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications or changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment and
where changes can be found on the plans. Please resubmit to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator.
1. Revisions made to the stamped architectural plans can only be made by the architect. Submit
revised architectural plans (stamped/signed by the architect) addressing the following:
a. Show existing and new shearwall locations per the engineer's calculations.
b. Revise architectural plan to clearly distinguish new walls from existing walls to
remain — this still is not clear. You may want to show the new walls in black to
distinguish from white existing walls and dashed removed walls.
c. Framing plans were still not provided showing loads from the new posts will be
carried directly through all floors to the foundation. It appears from the original
building plans that additional posts will be required to carry the new loads.
2. Provide structural calculation for new 4x10 header at den closet — this was not submitted.
3. On page C of structural calculations, structural engineer to note size of "existing or new post" at
footing.
4.. Plumbing schematic was not submitted and is still required.
