1. We received the architect's letter dated May 14, 2007 and details for the fire rated floor -ceiling
and wall, however my attached comments dated June 26, 2007 were not addressed. Please
provide.

During re -review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please provide written responses to the comments below
and resubmit 2 sets of revised plans/documents to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator.
Please provide these comments to your architect for response_
1) Provide listed and tested 2 -hour assembly for the proposed floor -ceiling assembly. If one cannot
be provided, see IBC 703.3 for alternative methods for determining fire resistance. As your
architect may be aware, the 2006 IBC will become effective July 1, 2007. Although your permit
application is under the 2003 edition of the IBC, there may be code changes in the 2006 IBC that
your architect could use as support information for an Alternate Design request under IBC
104.11.
