During re -review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.

You may redline plans or resubmit three (3) new site plans scaled no smaller than 1"=20' and
one on paper no larger than 8 %Z" x 14".
2) 9/26/07 According to R302 location on the lot the West wall will need to have the 1 -hour fire
separation (see attached listed and tested assembly samples) with no opening. Because the
structure is located on the property line we can not permit any eaves on this side because they
would encroach over the property line. For the East side, because of the distance to the main
residence this wall will also be required to have 1 -hour rating and no opening are permitted
with 4" max eaves. Please revise plans to reflect these requirements. The location of the
structure does not meet the minimum fire separation distance to the property line of R302. A one
hour fire -resistive rating wall will be required along the West wall of the structure. See attached
for sample 1 hour listed and tested fire rated assemblies. Also, along this wall 4" maximum
eaves are permitted. Please dimension eaves along this walla
