Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a Permit Coordinator. 1) Please add the following information to the site plan. ■ Reduced plot plan must be scaled no smaller than 1"=20'. M Specify if fence is existing or proposed. Also, it appears that it is not located completely on this property. If proposed a separate application is required for each lot. You may redline plans or resubmit three (3) new site plans scaled no smaller than 1"=20' and one on paper no larger than 8 %" x 14". 2) Provide existing floor plans for each floor. On the legend the difference between existing and proposed walls is hard to distinguish. Please also change one of them so that the proposed scope of work is clear. 3) The energy form submitted checked the box that the whole house was not applicable because the new square footage is less than 500 square feet. Total new square footage between both floors by my calculations is greater than 500 square feet. Please complete this portion of the form and show size and location of whole house fan on the plans. 4) Show how kitchen sink will be vented through the roof or with a loop vent as permitted by UPC 909.0.Air admittance valves are not permitted unless first approved by the Building Official under and alternate method per UPC 301.2. 5) Show size and location of crawlspace access (Minimum 18" x 24" in floor or 16" x 24" through perimeter wall). 6) Show size and location of crawlspace vents. 7) Show size and location of attic access (Minimum 22" x 30"). 8) R403.1.3 requires all vertical rebar to have a standard hook. Revise all foundation details to reflect. 9) Clearly show how the 4x10 hall header on the main floor is carried to bearing. 10) Provide calculations for ledger fastener type, size and spacing shown in loft section detail on sheet A4. 11) The attachment of the steel beam to wood posts is non -conventional. Engineer of Record to provide calculations for detail 2/A4. 12) Provide complete gravity (beam) calculations for all proposed porcli/entry beams. 13) Clarify what is supporting the new opening at the entry addition along the existing exterior wall and clearly show how all loads are carried to bearing. 14) Clearly show how all loads from the I/2 truss at the new 3rd floor attic are carried to bearing (i.e. beam or multiple joists under the bearing wall). 15) Provide calculation for garage door header.
