During re -review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.

2) 1018107 An additional smoke detector is required in the new master bedroom and in the lower
floor office- because it has a closet it is considered a sleeping room. Show location of all
smoke detectors throughout the remodel area as well as the existing residence.

5) I0/8/07Based on the roof framing plan provided it appears that the wall along the proposed
deck French doors and new master bath sinks is bearing. Clearly show how all walls being
removed along this line are being supported (i.e. at the new door to the master bath -roof
framing plan shows a post and wall in that area -how will this be carried to bearing?). Also,
Plan shows new columns, rafters and revisions to the fireplace area. Please clearly show all
proposed changes on theplans as well as a lower floor framing/foundation plan to clearly
show how all loads are carried to bearing. Provide a general roof framing plan to show that all
walls to be removed are non-bearing.
