I took a quick look at the resubmittal to see if it was a complete submittal for review, and
found it was not. I circled the items that are still outstanding in order to do a review. Items 2,
8, and 9 will be reviewed when a complete resubmittal is provided to the City addressing all
comments. Also, as previously requested, please provide written responses to the 11128107
comments as to how each item has been addressed. This fax is only being sent to you.

During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information, clarifications or
changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment and where changes can be found on the plans. Please
resubmit 2 sets of revised plans/documents to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator_
1� Provide mechanical plan for I" floor showing all mechanical work/equipment, including but not limited to the
garage exhaust fan, manufacturer's information for boiter/HWT shown on original approved floor plans, mechanical
ventilation for the elevator equipment room (also show duct paths to the exterior of the building), etc_
6The tracing paper taped to the floor plans will not microfilm for archiving purposes_ Submit revised plans_
3� This is a VA (1 -hour) building. Provide construction details showing how exhaust fans and ductwork will be run so
that 1 -hour fire rated assemblies are maintained (i.e. with shafts, lined joist bays, fire/smoke dampers, softs below
the 1 -hour assembly, etc.).
Ductwork is shown penetrating the 1 -hour exit enclosure on both floors which is not permitted per IBC 1020.1.2. A

QNatural or mechanical ventilation is required for the corridor, hallway and lobby areas. Show how this will be
provided.
60 Show location of heat pumps on the plans. If they will be located on the roof or in the yard areas at the exterior of
the building, provide elevation views and screening for Planning Division review.
The plumbing permit (2006-1242) for this project did not include gas piping or gas fireplaces. Provide gas piping
plan and manufacturer's information for the gas fireplaces.
