During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can he accessed at
our website: www.ci.echnonds.wa.us under City Government / Development Services Department
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
1. There are no details showing the deck in your submitted plans. Is the deck going to have an impermeable
surface? Or does it have a concrete pad underneath it? Or is it covered? Please note any of these details on the
site/plot plan if applicable. If not, then new deck square footage can be removed from your impervious Surface
calculations.
2. Do the downspouts on the existing house drain onto splashblocks? If so, please note on the site/plot plan
"Drainage to existing system". If not, revise plans so that the roof drainage from the addition uses whatever
system is existing.
3. Please show all utilities on site/plot plan: side sewer from main to house, water service line from meter to
house, storm drainage. Also indicate any public or private casements. See Handout #1357 for all information
required on Site/Plot Plan. You may find this handout by visiting the our web site, instructions above. This
information must be on the reduced Site/Plot Plan as well.
4. Please show temporary erosion control measures on site/plot plan. Please refer to City of Edmonds standard
detail E 1.1. You may find this detail by visiting the our web site, instructions above.
