Dear Ms. Richardson:
GARY HAAKENSON

Please respond to the enclosed comments from Ann Bullis dated November 6, 2007
regarding your building application. According to Edmonds Community Development

a written request for application extension is submitted to the Building Official. If an
application extension is granted it may only be extended for an additional 180 days for a

additional extensions may therefore be granted. The City cannot continue to process your
application until you fully respond to all of the noted items.

Sincerely;

RE: Plan Check #2007-0448
Project: Park Place Exterior Repair
Project Address: 8615 238th Street SW
During re -review of the plans/documents for the above noted project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications or changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment and
where changes can be found on the plans. Please provide these comments to your engineer and
submit revised plans/documents to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator.
1. Previous item 4: Location and inspection of structural repairs that were done must be included
in the Structural Engineer's inspection reports. We are still waiting for the reports to be
submitted.
2. Previous item 6: The plans note that exhaust fans must terminate to the exterior. Include in the
Engineer's inspection reports verifying code compliance.
3. Previous item 9: We are still awaiting the Structural Engineer's reports as previously requested.
4. Previous item 10: The bids provided to the City do not appear to include all of the work that is
described in the plans. We have only received a bid from Skyline decking for the deck
membrane installation, and from CR Construction for the truss blocking work (which appears to
be the work shown in the recently provided engineered sketches). Please provide bids for all
work done as previously requested.
5. Provide 2 copies of the truss blocking sketches (4 pages) submitted October 18, 2007 stamped
and signed by the Engineer of Record.
