Project: ADU Remodel and Covered Porch
Project Address: 18918 80th Ave W.
During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.
1) Clarify how the ADU area will be heated. Per our ADU handout this unit must have separate
isolated thermostats to control heat.
2) Please note on the floor plans that the smoke detectors are to be hardwired and interconnected
with battery backup.
3) Please provide complete lower floor existing floor plan. It is not clear if the bathroom and closet
where there was storage area before is new in the main residence portion.
4) Provide floor framing plan to verify that the walls being relocated/removed are non-bearing.
5) Provide complete framing and foundation plans for proposed covered porch.
