Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a Permit Coordinator. 1) Please add the following information to the site plan. ■ Show elevation contour lines on the site planat 5' intervals. You may redlinc plans or resubmit three (3) new site plans scaled no smaller than 1 "=20' and one on paper no larger than 8 1/z" x 14". 2) Site plan shows stairs. Please show on plans and specify if existing or proposed. If proposed provide construction details and section showing rise, run, handrail, guardrail, etc. 3) Specify if chimney is for a wood burning fireplace. If so, then a minimum 2" clearance to combustibles is required around the chimney. Note on plans if applicable. 4) Specify how the joists are supported at the chimney double joists (i.e. hanging off?) and provide calculation for double joists acting as a beam. 5) Calculations call out a 5 118 x 161/z" GLB for beam 4 and the plans show a 5 1/8" x 15" GLB. Please coordinate plans with calculations or provide revised calculation for what is shown on the plans. 6) Specify how joists are supported along the house. If ledger, specify size and fastener type, size and spacing. For conventional construction (without calculations) it would need to be a 2x8 p.t. ledger with 318" x 4 %z" bolts/screws at 4" o.c. staggered. 7) Specify hanger for the 5 118" x 9 GLB to the 5 1/8" x 15" GLB (at the corner section of deck). 8) Provide calculation for the 5 118 x 9" GLB along the front long section of the deck and specify maximum spacing between the posts.
