Dear Applicant,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that the following
information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue. If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to working with you on this project.
Please provide a written response to the items mentioned below…
1.Landscaping Bid:
Please provide a copy of the landscape bid (breakdown of labor + materials) for the
landscaping on site. This bid is used to determine your landscaping bond amount, as well as the landscape
inspection fee.
2.Setbacks:
Can you confirm that the exposed timber rafters meet setbacks? I had a hard time trying to figure
this one out – thanks!
3.Height:
A few corrections/updates to the height calculations are required – please update plans/sheets
accordingly…
a.
The height rectangle needs to encompass the line of the upper floor – please shift points out to meet code
(it just needs to be a little bit larger).
b.
Please update the height calculations based on the revised rectangle. Please update the site plans and the
elevations.
c.
Please add the “actual height” to the height calculations.
d.
What is the height of the elevator penthouse? Please show on an elevation.
e.
Please show (on an elevation) the “max” height, “actual” height, and the “average grade” as related to 25-
feet and 30-feet (the part of the roof between 25-30 needs to be at a 4/12 pitch or greater – please make this
clear).
