I have re-reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that the
following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue. If you
have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to working with you on this project.

Please provide a written response to the item mentioned below…
1.Setbacks:
The site plan and the exterior elevations (A4.00) appear to show that a portion of the upper floors
projects into the minimum 10’ side setback (about 8’ from the property line instead of 10’). Is this possibly an
optical illusion due to the orientation of the building on the lot? Please clearly show and confirm that all
portions of the building meet the minimum 10’ side setbacks (except that up to 30” of eaves and
fireplace/chimney are permitted to extend into the setback). If this is something that you can just walk me
though over the phone, please call me and I’m happy to take another look at the plans with you. If this is
something that needs to be revised, please accept my apologies for not catching this sooner and pull in the
upper floors approximately two feet to meet setbacks.
