We have reviewed your request for a driveway slope waiver up to 20% for the above address. We
understand that due to the downhill cross slope of N Meadowdale Rd it is difficult to slope the new
driveway slope under 14%, as required in Section 18.80.060D without creating too steep of a cross
slope through the rest of the, driveway, Therefore considering the challenges of thiis lot, we will
approve the subject waiver request, The driveway slope is granted up to 20%.

We have a new Residence for the Saldin/ Burns family under construction and nearing
completion at the above address. It is situated on the east side of North Meadowdale Road.
North Meadowdale Road as it pusses the site is a steepish, downhill to the north, The building
pad and garage apron are upslope from the road.
This roadway, site, driveway alignment has created a steeper than permitted driveway slope on
The northern (downhill) portion of the driveway in spite of our best efforts to bring the grade
into compliance. The bulk of the driveway and the uphill portion from: the centerline all fall
within the grading parameters.
We respectfully request a variance from the driveway grading requirements for the above
named portion of our soon to be paved driveway.
