Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised civil drawings and associated documents with a written response to each item to an Engineering Technician. REAR GARAGE Please include with your submittal a signed statement from the owner noting that the rear garage shall not be used for vehicular storage, and no driveway shall exist to said garage unless: a) an easement is granted from the owners of the adjacent private road, *and* b) a drainage plan, designed for both the current project and the new driveway, is approved by the City. Comments mailed on April 20, 2008 have yet to be addressed. They are reprinted in full below: DRAINAGE The impervious surface calculations need some clarification. Removing existing impervious surface as a "credit" against new impervious area is permissible only when: 1. There is an existing drainage system to claim credit against; 2. The new impervious lies within the existing building footprint. Without knowing the locations of the surfaces you intend to remove, it is not possible to verify what extent the new construction is not counted as new impervious surface. Please note on the site plan the locations and extents of the existing driveway, the front walk, and the south walk.
