All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government / Development Services Department 1 Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts: 1. Please show all utilities from property line to existing house (ie. Water line from meter to house, gas from meter to house, side sewer from property line to house). 2. How is drainage from roof to be handled? Since new impervious surface is under 2000sf then drainage can be tied into the existing system used by the existing house. (If this is the case, note on plans "drainage to existing system") 3. If footing drains are required, where will they drain to? If no system connecting to the storm system available, then a 3 x 3 x 3 drywell set at minimum 1Oft from structure is a relatively inexpensive solution. If you choose this option, show on plans where it would be located. 4. Are steps connecting new addition to existing residence proposed? If so, please add to impervious surface calculations. 5. Please include overhangs and eaves for impervious surface calculations of proposed addition. Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator.
