Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Senior Permit Coordinator. Thank you. 1.Original item #8: Show on the plans that the rear exit leads directly to a public way. If This item has there is a gate in the exit path, it must have panic hardware. IBC 1008.2. not been addressed. Further, what is the use of the space outside the rear exit? If it is to be outdoor seating for dining, please show this on the plans. 2.Original item #10: Please fill out completely the (attached) Commercial Kitchen Hood We have received the completed worksheet, however the information (model Worksheet. number, etc.) must be coordinated with information on the Mechanical Summary form and the Equipment list on sheet KC-1, as well as with the Captivaire specs provided. 3.Previous item #6. A specification packet has been received for a 3 ton heating/cooling unit, however this unit does not appear on the plans or in the Mechanical Summary form. Please show the location of the unit and any ductwork on the plans and provide the appropriate information in the Mechanical Summary form. Also, if the unit is to be mounted on the roof, structural engineering will be required to show the roof structure can support the weight. If the unit weighs more than 400 pounds, engineering calculations will be required for the design of seismic attachments for ‘unit to curb’ and This ‘curb to roof.’ Please indicate the size and location of the gas line to this unit also. item has not yet been addressed. 4.Original item #14: Indicate backflow prevention devices where required on plumbing . Please indicate either an air gap or RPBA on the supply line for the ice maker. fixtures 5.Original item #15: Please provide a copy of the approval letter from Snohomish Health . This is a requirement prior to issuing the building permit. District 6.Original item #16: Show existing (or proposed) accessible parking spaces (one is required), show accessible signage and the travel route from the accessible spaces to the building entry. If the travel route includes a raised front walk, show a code compliant curb ramp. Please show these elements clearly on the site plan: a.Location and dimensions of accessible parking stall including adjacent disembarkment zone. ANSI A117.1 Section 502 b.Signage for the accessible stall. ANSI A117.1 Section 502 c.Details for a code compliant ramp including the slope, width, and handrails. (Handrails are required on both sides of ramps where the rise exceeds 6 inches and the slope is greater than 1 in 20. The maximum slope allowed is 1 in 12.) IBC 1010. A new and accurate site plan will be required to show this information. The above are comments generated from the third review by the Building Division.
