During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1.Please show the prep sink meat and the prep sink veggie on the schematic diagram. Show the
floor sinks that each of these drain into.
2.Is there a meat sink in the 3 compartment sink? This is unclear when comparing the floor plan
piping to the schematic diagram.
3.The sanitizing sink in the 3 compartment sink must be shown as draining to the graywater drain
without draining through the grease trap.
4.Show venting for the grease trap on the schematic. This is to be per the manufacturer.
5.Show an indirect drain from the ice maker.
6.Indicate what kind of backflow prevention is provided for the ice maker, either an air gap or an
RPBA.
7.The maximum number of drainage fixture units on a 1½ vent is 8. Please show where the
common vent is upsized to 2.
Note-it would be helpful and provide more clarity if the DWV system was drawn in an isometric
format rather than just a schematic. Thank you.
