Project Address: 200 Dayton Street
During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised
plans/documents with a written response to each of the items below to Marie Harrison.
City of Edmonds handouts and standard details can be referenced on the City website under
Development Services Department, Engineering Division.
GENERAL
1. Provide a Construction Sequence, including the following:
a. Schedule pre -construction meeting with City Engineering Division at 425-771-0220, ext.
1326.
b. Review TESC plan.
c. Call for utility locates.
d. Install TESC measures and maintain dust control.
e. Install utilities and perform other site improvements
f. Stabilize exposed areas.
g. Remove TESC measures once site has been permanently stabilized.
2. Please add a note to the plans indicating the approved haul route: Dayton Street to SR -104 to
Hwy 99 or I-5 and vice versa.
3. Please add a note to the plans indicating the staging of materials and work vehicles will be
entirely on site, with no disruption to on -street parking.
SHEET 2 — TESC/DEMOLITION
1. Sheet 2 mainly identifies removal or protection of existing features. As the chain link fence is
being added as a protective measure, it should be clarified (consistent with Sheet 3) that the 6'
chain link fence is a temporary construction fence.

2. Please also note the chain link fence shall be located so as not to impede the pedestrian path of
travel on Dayton Street.
SHEET 3 — GRADING
1. Revise sheet title to include DRAINAGE.
2. Provide invert elevations at all pipe connections at the new catch basin and the existing catch
basin.
3. The 4" perforated wall drain pipe shall connect to the storm drainage system. Provide pipe
invert elevations at the ends of the wall.
4. Please provide impervious surface calculations for new concrete courtyard.
5. Please indicate the proposed height of the new concrete curb adjacent to the parking area. Will
the curbing be extruded curb or vertical curb? For extruded curb, please reference City standard
detail E2.7. For vertical curb, please reference City standard detail E2.10
