Items that are in italics appeared in the previous review letter and have not been sufficiently addressed. Please submit revised plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Senior Permit Coordinator. Thank you. Previous item #1. Please show on the plans the sizing and discharge locations of the 1. roof drain leaders and conductors. Note that the City of Edmonds does not allow separate discharge of the secondary roof drainage system, so a combined system will be required, designed per UPC 1101.11.2.2.2. The roof drains are included in the fixture list, and must be shown on the plans. 2.Previous item #2. Show floor drains at the second floor restrooms. UPC 411.2.1 3.Previous item #3. Indicate trap primers at all floor drains. UPC 1007.0 4.Previous item #5. In the Galley, show clearly the multiple-compartment sinks, label them for their respective use, and show how each compartment is drained. (The City does not allow non-grease producing drains to drain through a grease interceptor. Grease waste lines will also be reviewed by Jon Lein, Wastewater Pretreatment Technician.) th 5.Previous item #8. Please show the location and piping for the 4 hose bibb. 6.Previous item #9. Please explain what is meant by the “Looped” notation at the hot and cold lines to the Bar area. 7.Previous item #10. Indicate supply and drain piping for the dishwasher, and an RPBA for the (dishwasher) supply line. 8.Previous item #11. Indicate the type of backflow protection provided at the ice maker— whether an air gap or RPBA. 9.As per Linda McMurphy, Edmonds Public Works Cross Connection specialist, the RPBA on the main supply line must be in a hot box at the meter. Please note this on the plumbing plans. 10.The latest CAD drawing is barely legible. Please provide a more legible copy with the next resubmittal. Page 2 of 2
