During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Senior Permit
Coordinator. Thank you.
Please show on the plans the sizing and discharge locations of the roof drain leaders and

3.Indicate trap primers at all floor drains. UPC 1007.0
4.Indicate a drain for the discharge of the RPBA in the Mechanical Room.
5.In the Galley, show clearly the multiple-compartment sinks, label them for their
respective use, and show how each compartment is drained. (The City does not allow
non-grease producing drains to drain through a grease trap.)
6.Please clarify the arrangement of grease interceptors on site. According to the civil
drawings there is already an interceptor shown outside the building, yet there is a grease
trap shown on the submitted plumbing plans. Please be aware that additional comments
will be forthcoming from the Wastewater Treatment division regarding grease
management.
7.Please show vent locations and sizing on the plans.
th
8.Please show the location and piping for the 4 hose bibb.
9.Please explain what is meant by the Looped notation at the hot and cold lines to the
Bar area.
10.Indicate supply and drain piping for the dishwasher, and an RPBA for the supply line.
11.Indicate the type of backflow protection provided at the ice makerwhether an air gap
or RPBA.
