Project Address: 22921 HWY 99
During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
I. Engineer of record to seal and sign sheet A2.1
2. Connection requirements (welding?) for the steel canopy frames.
3. Plate detail. for canopy connection to concrete wall.
4. Gauge of sheet metal roofing at awning, and connection requirements (screw size and spacing)
5. Detail C7/A2. I -specify grout to be used- epoxy, mortar (grade M,S,N, etc), strength mix if
actual grout, non -shrink, ?
6. Parapet requirements -IBC704.11.1:
a. Identify the required fire -resistive rating of the supporting wall. The parapet shall
have the same fire -resistive rating as required for the supporting wall.
b. The uppermost 18" on the side adjacent to the roof surface shall have non
combustible faces, including counterflashing (reglet metal) and coping materials.
Detail C7/A2.1 indicates roof membrane may be proposed for that area.
c. Plywood, osb, exterior gypsum board, should be shown at detail C -7/A-2.1 as
backing for the EIFS, or provide listed EIFS product information which shows a
solid backing is not required.
