Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Marie Harrison, Senior Permit Coordinator. Thank you. Sheet A0.2 1.The exit signs on the door panels within the retractable walls are shown as unlighted. These must be illuminated internally or externally per IBC 1011.2. 2.All doors to storage rooms larger than 100 square feet are to be self closing and gasketed. Please indicate this on the plans and door schedule for doors 119, 125, 141 and 203. 3.Show on the plans occupant load signs are to be posted in the following rooms: Parish Hall 1 (OL=227), Parish Hall 2 (218), the entire parish hall area (518) and the upstairs lobby (159). IBC 1004.3 4.Show emergency lighting in the stairwell. IBC 1006.1 5.Show on the plans a tactile/Braille exit sign adjacent to the doors at the top of the stairwell. IBC 1011.3 /ANSI A117.1 Section 703.3 6.Show on the plans signage at the elevator directing occupants to the nearest accessible means of egress. IBC 1007.7 Sheet A1.2 7.Please show the elevations of the exterior door landings and of the exterior walkways in order to verify landings, walkways and ramps comply with the building code. IBC 1007.2, 1008.1.4 8.Show on the plans a minimum 44 inch wide striped crosswalk across the driveway to the accessible parking stalls. IBC 1104.1 9.Show signage at each accessible parking stall. IBC 1110.1 and ANSI A117.1 section 502.7 10.Show signage for the accessible passenger loading zone. IBC 1110.1 Sheet A1.4 11.Provide a 6 mil visqueen vapor barrier below the slab on grade. See also sheet A7.1 Sheet A2.1 12.Show on the plans and accessible route of travel from Exit Door 136 to the public way. Sheet A2.3 13.Show on the plans the type of roof covering and the minimum roof slope. IBC 1507 Sheet A3.1 14.Panic hardware is required on all doors serving an occupant load of 50 or more. Please show panic hardware on doors 201, 205, 205.1, 206 and 206.1. IBC 1008.1.9 15.For all accessible doors please indicate a maximum threshold height of ½”. ANSI A117.1 section 404.2.4 Sheet A4.1 16.At the top of the stairway, show that the handrails on both sides of the stair extend in the direction of travel a minimum of 12 inches prior to turning or returning. IBC 1009.11.5 Sheet A4.4 17.In restrooms where urinals are provided, at least one urinal shall have a maximum rim height of 17”. ANSI A117.1 section 605 18.Provide a minimum of 48 inch wide door approach at the toilet stall in women’s restroom 105. ANSI A117.1 table 404.2.3.1(f) 19.Indicate what type of wall covering is to be used for the minimum 48 inch high “smooth, hard non-absorbent surface” within 24 inches of toilets and urinals. IBC 1210.2 Note- this is not required in Room 110. Sheet A7.1 20.Indicate a thermal break at slab edges in the wall sections, typical. WSEC 502.1.4.8 E0.01 21.The Interior Lighting Summary provided uses incorrect square footage area. (It should be 21,122 SF as on A0.1.) Please revise this form and the design as needed. 22.Please provide an Exterior Lighting Summary form and show locations of exterior light fixtures on the plans. Page 2 of 3 Mechanical 23.Please provide seismic calculations and details for the attachment of RTU’s-to-curb and curbs-to-roof. These calculations and details must be signed and stamped by the mechanical engineer. 24.Please show mechanical exhaust in the main kitchen that complies with the IMC and VIAQ. Plumbing 25.Please provide specifications on the dishwasher in order to determine what type of backflow prevention will be needed. 26.What type of backflow prevention will be utilized at the mop sink? 27.Please note that a boiler permit from Labor and Industries is required for all water heaters in assembly facilities.
