Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Senior Permit Coordinator. Thank you. 1.Please note on page CS-1 that the Construction Type is “VB”, not “V”. This may be redlined. 2.IBC Table 508.3.3 requires a 2 hour fire-resistive separation wall between the new A occupancy and the existing M/B occupancies on either end of the space. Please provide the approved listing and details for the rated wall assemblies on the plans. If you wish to propose non-separated uses (to omit the fire rating of the walls) according to IBC 508.3.2, please provide an accurate floor plan of the entire building showing the total square footage. Non- separated use buildings containing an A-2 occupancy must be fire sprinklered where the fire area exceeds 5000 square feet. IBC 903.2.1.2 3.Please show on the plans how the space will be heated and ventilated or indicate on the plans that Mechanical will be a separate permit. IBC 1203. 4.Indicate that panic hardware will be provide at the north exit door. IBC 1008.1.9 5.Please complete and submit the Interior and Exterior Light Summary forms, attached.
