Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Linda Thornquist, Permit Specialist. Thank you. 1. It appears from existing city records and from visual observation that the Construction Type of the building is "VB", not "113". Please note this on page Al.1 This maybe redlined. 2. Please indicate whether or not the Plumbing permit will be a deferred submittal. 3. The front and rear doors must be fitted with thresholds that are a maximum of 3/4 inch high. IBC 3409.8.12 4. Show that wall coverings within 2 feet of the toilet are a smooth, hard, non-absorbent material to a height of 4 feet. IBC 1210.2 Show that the vinyl cove base in the restroom is 6 inches high. IBC 1210.1 6. Please provide accessibility details for all features within the restroom, including dimensions for plumbing fixtures, grab bars, countertops, clear floor spaces, etc. These may be similar to those on the Restroom tipsheet found on MyBuildingPermit.com. ANSI Al 17.1 section 603 7. Provide details for the suspended ceiling. S. The Change of Use for the space requires that accessible parking be provided. Please show on the site plan a van -accessible space with access aisle and signage. The stall may be either 11 feet wide with a 5 foot access aisle or 8 feet wide with an 8 foot access aisle. An accessible path from the parking is also required, including a curb ramp from the parking level to the walkway. Provide details for the curb ramp on the plans. IBC 3409.4
