SUBJECT: Site Improvement Maintenance Bond, Employee Benefits of America
Mr. Nathan,
The City of Edmonds would like to release the Maintenance Bond for the improvements to
the right of way installed at the time of the construction of the Employee Benefits building.
At this time, the only remaining issue is the failing utility trench across 102nd pI W .
Sandra and I had discussed the repair of the trench in July and expected that the trench would
be cornpleted once she had collected bids for the work.
I understand that due to the Current weather conditions the perni.anent restoration of the
trench will not be done immediately. If you can give me a date that You intend to complete
the restoration I can pend the file until that date. Please let laic know when you plan to
perii-ianently restore the trench. I would like to close this file and release your bond.
1. N/A
2. Utility trench was not compacted well and has sunken below the grade of the road.
Current asphalt must be removed. A Conilmetion Test is required for trench area and must
be received by the City prior to releasing the bond.
