Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Marie Harrison, Senior Permit Coordinator. 1.The Sure Seal Floor Drain Trap Sealer is not recognized within the prescriptive requirements of the UPC. Please provide additional information to justify its use under “alternate materials” or indicate the use of trap primers at all floor drains. 2.Please identify the dark blue dashed line that connects the RPBA for Pop with the Filter and the ice machine (A016) and the coffee maker (A033). It is unclear what this line serves. 3.Please clarify the routing of the soda machine supply lines beyond the RP device. 4.Appliances such as ice machines and coffee makers that are directly connected to potable water typically must be isolated by RPBA devices, unless they have an integral air gap. Please provide specifications on these items; otherwise a determination will be made by the plumbing inspector in the field whether or not backflow protection will be required. 5.The plumbing plans show the following items are connected directly to the sanitary sewer, but they should be connected to the line flowing to the grease interceptor: a.The dipper well labeled A026 next to B009 next to index C b.The floor sinks next to both mobile fryers (labeled B002) c.The floor drain underneath the four comp prep sink 6.The plumbing plans show all four handsinks as connected to the grease interceptor, but they should be connected to the line flowing to the sanitary sewer.
