During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a permit coordinator. Thank you.
1.Please provide revised occupant load calculations for the B occupancy (Office, Fitness,
Game areas)
2.The anticipated occupant load of the B occupancy exceeds 50, therefore the door from the
entry lobby to the parking area must swing in the direction of egress. IBC 1008.1.2
3.The door and relite at the entry lobby and the new windows at the Fitness Room occur in a 3
hour rated wall and must be fire rated accordingly. Please indicate this on the plans.
4.Exterior door 019 near the elevator appears to be part of the fire rated occupancy separation
and should be fire rated, but is not shown as such in the door schedule. Please clarify the fire
rating of this door as well as the small portion of surrounding wall.
5.Please label all the doors and windows (at least those that are fire rated) on the revised plans.
