WHEREAS, on November 21, 1995 the Edmonds City Council held a hearing regarding the rezone of the property described in File No. R-95-145 from RM 2.4 to RM 1.5., and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the staff report and the evidence submitted indicate that the rezone is in compliance with the State Environmental Protection Act, the Edmonds Community Development Code and the Edmonds Comprehensive Plan, and WHEREAS, the only evidence introduced at the hearing tended to indicate that the criteria of the Code were met and no contrary evidence was presented to the City Council, the Edmonds City Council therefore finds that all the criteria established by the Edmonds Community Development Code to rezone the real property described herein have been met, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: wss\0\118545.1 -1- von. 114 Phu 2 2 5 y ! Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifi- cally delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the title.
