ORDINANCE NO. 2624
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY
BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN FROM MULTI-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (RM 2.4) TO NEIGHBORHOOD
BUSINESS (BN), PURSUANT TO THE PLANNING BOARD'S
RECOMMENDATION AND THE CITY COUNCIL REVIEW, AND
FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME
EFFECTIVE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington pursuant to Notice in conformance with law and
ordinance held a public hearing on May 19, 1987, on a proposed
amendment in application No. R--2_-87 to the official zoning map
of said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received the
recommendations of its Planning Board following the public
hearing, and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs in.the findings of the
City's responsible official that no significant and adverse
environmental impact will result from said action and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted its Findings of
Fact and Conclusions of Law with regard to said rezone; NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The official zoning map of the City of
Edmonds, Washington, is hereby amended to change the
classification of the following described property from Multi-

Family Residential (RM -2.4) to Neighborhood Business (BN), such
property being entirely situated in the City of Edmonds,
Snohomish County, Washington. Said property is shown on the
attached Exhibit A, incorporated by this reference as fully as if
herein set forth and is hereby described to be Lots 1, 2 and 3 of
Hawarden Tracts, in accordance with the subdivision of the plat
thereof recorded with the Snohomish County Auditor.
Section 2. Community Services Director, by and through
his duly appointed designee is hereby directed to effectuate the
necessary amendments to the official zoning map of the City of
Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to Section 1 of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance being an exercise of a power
specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not
subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after
passage and publication.
