We (Shawn and Sonja Springer, and Scott and Gayle Forslund) submitted a lot line adjustment procedure with the City of
Edmonds in 1994 under file number S-93-239. The lot line adjustment documents were recorded under auditor file
number (AFN) 9408120133.
However, the Snohomish County Assessor's office was never able to process the lot line adjustment because there were
never any conveyance documents recorded with the County to complete the lot line adjustment. Title to the property was
never transferred. The Snohomish County Assessor's Office never recognized the lot line adjustment. The boundary used
by the County for taxing purposes still follows the original line set in the original plat of Pine Ridge Estates.
On Feb. 27, 1995 and October 13, 2010, we (Springers and Forslunds) received a letter (attached) from the County
assessor's office declaring that the lot line adjustment filed with the City of Edmonds did not transfer title and the County
was unable to change any records because they had never received evidence that the title has transferred.
On March 23, 2011, at your request, the County Assessor's office sent us a letter (attached), which reconfirms this and
states that the County still recognizes the original Pine Ridge Estates plat as the legal description of the properties.
To rectify this, we (the Springers and Forslunds) are writing to notify you that we are not completing the Lot Line
Adjustment referred to in S-93-239. For our records, we kindly request that you send us a written confirmation that the
City of Edmonds acknowledges that File S-93-239 requesting a lot line adjustment is void. Please also send a copy of
your written acknowledgement to Carol Fish, Land Segregation Dept, Snohomish County Assessor's Office, for their files.
We will also file these documents to document our rescission of the lot line adjustment as a part of the public record with
the Snohomish County Auditor's office. Thank you very much.

As stated in my prior e-mail, we are unable to process the City of Edmonds Lot
Line Adjustment recorded under AFN 9408120133 since there were never any
conveyance documents recorded, to complete the. LLA process.
To date, we have been unable to locate any conveyance documents recorded with
the Snohomish County Auditor's Office for this Lot Line Adjustment.
As far as the current property line, I would suggest that you ask a title company or
surveyor. The boundary that we use for taxing purposes follows the original line set in the
plat of Pine Ridge Estates. This would also be the legal description of the property as it
was'described in your deed recorded under AFN 9309240348. The legal description that
we use for taxing purpose is "Pine Ridge Estates Lot 9." The letters we sent you in 1995
and in 2010 are attached.

Dear Sir/Madam:
Please advise me how i can file a document to have it on hand in public records associated with our property. I am working with Carol Fish In the Assessor's office and Kernen Lien with
Cityof Edmonds to document a recision of an Boundary Line Adjustment. that was never completed, we have a notarized letter from us and our neighbors saying we are not completing
the BLA and want to have this notarized letter on file with the Auditor's office, just so there is never any confusion in the future (since we did start the process but decided not to finish
it). I think I need to get an AFN number and somehow provide the info to you for recording, and that a fee is involved. How do I accomplish this? Thank you in advance for your help.
