To Whom it May Concern:
According to Building Division records, your contractor failed to call the City Building
Inspector for the required inspections for your plumbing and/or mechanical permit.
Plumbing and Mechanical permits are valid for 180 days from the date of issuance. We
understand you may not have been aware of the code requirement for inspections
associated with this permit. The code requires inspections to assure minimum life safety
requirements have been met for the permitted work.
If our records are incorrect, please contact us immediately. If this job was canceled,
please mail/fax a letter to us and we will close out your file. Ultimately, it is the
homeowners' responsibility to make sure the required inspections have been completed
prior to the permit expiration date. Please call for the required inspections within 7 days
from the date of this letter at (425) 771-0220 x1333. Please be advised that failure to call
for the required inspections could potentially result in this matter being turned over to
Code Enforcement to gain compliance.
