Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a permit coordinator. 1.Please provide the gross overall square footage areas for the heated and unheated spaces in order to determine valuations, ventilation calculations, etc. 2.Clarify which whole house ventilation option will be used, either M1508.4 or M1508.5. Provide sufficient details to show compliance with the selected code section. There is conflicting information on sheet A3. a.If an exhaust fan will be used with intermittent operation, use the equation in M1508.3 to determine the CFM of the fan. Also note that the maximum noise rating of the fan is 1.0 sones in detail 3/A3. 3.Provide at least 100 square inches of makeup air to the laundry. G2407.4 4.On sheet A5, change the callout for A-A/A10 to A-A/A6. 5.On sheet A5, change the callout for B-B/A10 to B-B/A6. 6.Verify adequate sizing of the 18x18x10 footing under the east end of Beam 7 on sheet A4. 7.Verify adequate sizing of the 24x24x10 footing under the 6x6 at the connection of Beam 3 and Beam 4. 8.On sheets A4 and A5 the SW2 designation is missing from the wall at the rear of the garage. 9.On Building Section A-A on sheet A6 provide the correct detail callout for the sistering of the rafters. (4/A2 does not apply). Provide a detail showing how the sistering will be done. 10. At the vaulted ceiling over the office, provide more detail as to how the roof wil be framed (ie. the size of valley rafters; size and type of hangers; etc.) 11.If the valley rafters impose a point load on Beam 5, please show this in the gravity calculations. This may impact the pointload on Beam 6 as well.
