Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, cloud all changes on the revised plans, and submit the revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. Thank you. On page A3: 1.Pin Pile Plan/Foundation Plan – Clarify the requirements for the structural slab subgrade. Notes in the garage area of each of the plans reference a ‘geotech report’, as does the provided structural calculations for the design of the pin pile foundation. No geotechnical report could be found among the construction documents submitted for this permit – see also Note #5. 2.Foundation Plan – Due to the seemingly specific nature of the foundation design, indicate the required size of the isolated footings supporting the covered porch at the main entry to avoid ‘scaling’. 3.Foundation Plan – Add or relocate the provided foundation vents as necessary to meet the requirements of R408.2 – “One ventilating opening shall be within 3 feet of each corner…” On page A5: 4.Provide the required safety glazing for the 3.0x4.0 window adjacent to the doors into the master bedroom per R308.4.2. Structural Calculations: 5.Pin Pile Foundation – Clarify the requirements for the pin pile foundation. Notes in the provided structural calculations reference a ‘geotech report’(Pan Geo #07-099), as does the garage area of the plans for the structural slab subgrade. No geotechnical report could be found among the construction documents submitted for this permit – see also Note #1. 6.Beam Calculations - Provide new beam calculations that are, or re-number the existing to be, identified as those shown on the architectural pages to guide proper review, construction, and inspection.
