Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, cloud all changes on the revised plans, and submit the revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. Thank you. On page A-1: 1.General Note – Indicate on the plans any openings in the west wall of the house into the carport/garage. No windows (in the wall or doors) or ventilation intake and exhaust openings are allowed. The door must meet the requirements of R302.5.1. 2.General Note – Indicate on the plans the required dwelling/garage separation per Table R302.6. 3.Wall Section AA/A-1 – Indicate on the plans the roof sheathing material to be used for the 6 foot and 10 foot additions to each end of the existing carport roof. 4.Wall Section AA/A-1 – Indicate on the plans the required attachment of the roof sheathing per R602.3(1). 5.Wall Section AA/A-1 – Clarify the callout for the 2x10 DF #2/btr rafters at 16” on-center. The deflection of the overhang is beyond that allowed per Table R301.7. 6.Wall Section AA/A-1 – Indicate on the plans the required attachment of the top plate of the in- fill wall to the existing framing per R602.3(1). 7.Wall Section AA/A-1 – Indicate on the plans the required frost protection of the footing per R403.1.4.1. 8.Wall Section AA/A-1 – Indicate on the plans the required reinforcement of the slab-on-ground with turned-down footing per R403.1.3.2. Note the requirement for slabs-on-ground cast monolithically with the footing. 9.Existing and Proposed Roof Plan – Clarify the difference between the roof overhang indicated for the west eave and that represented in the ‘North Elevation’. 10.Existing and Proposed Roof Plan – Indicate on the plans the means to be used to support the east end of the roof rafters at the 6 foot addition.
