Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, cloud all changes on the revised plans, and submit the revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. Thank you. On page 4: 1.Indicate on the plans the required vehicle protection for the water heater and the furnace per UPC 508.14 and M1307.3.1. 2.Indicate on the plans the required emergency escape and rescue opening (egress) for the bedroom located north of the ‘Living Room’ per R310.1.1. The ‘Front Elevation’ on page 1 depicts a single-hung window that may not meet the clear opening requirements. 3.Indicate on the plans the means to be used for the installation of the furnace and water heater located in the bathroom north of the ‘Kitchen/Dinette’ to comply with G2406.2. On pages 4 and 5: 4.Clarify the callout for the STHD14 holdowns at each end of the braced walls along the ‘Lower Front’ braced wall line. Per the manufacturer the holdowns are unable to meet the tension loads noted on page 7 of the provided structural calculations at those locations. 5.Clarify the callout for the HDU5/SDS2.5 holdowns at each end of the braced walls along the ‘Lower Left’ braced wall line. Per the manufacturer the holdowns are unable to meet the tension loads noted on page 8 of the provided structural calculations at those locations. 6.Clarify the callout for the HDU2/SDS2.5 holdowns at each end of the braced walls along the north-south ‘Lower Interior’ braced wall line. Per the manufacturer the holdowns are unable to meet the tension loads noted on page 8 of the provided structural calculations at those locations. On page 5: 7.Indicate on the plans the required footings to support the point load from the girder truss above the west side of the ‘Master Bedroom’ – see page 6 of the building plans. 8.Clarify the callout for 1-3/4x11-1/4 Parallams to be used as floor joists over the garage. The minimum width of a Parallam is 3-1/2 inches per the manufacturer. The provided structural calculations appear to indicate the use of Microllams (LVLs) at that location. Page 2 of 2
