Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, cloud all changes on the revised plans, and submit the revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. Thank you. In the ‘Prescriptive Energy Code Compliance for Climate Zones 6, 5 and Marine 4’ forms: 1.Clarify the difference in the number and size of the various vertical glazing units to be installed and that represented on the architectural drawings. 2.Clarify the difference in the conditioned floor area noted in the heating system sizing calculation and that stated in the building permit application and on page A5. 3.Verify the heating system sizing calculation using the updated window and conditioned floor areas– see review notes above. On page A6: 4.Clarify the callout for ‘Beam B-9’ – 3-1/8x10-1/2 24F-V4 GLB – it appears to be under- sized and fails in ‘shear’. The load from the shed roof framing does not appear to have been accounted for in the provided beam calculations. 5.Clarify the callout for the 4x10 DF #2 to be used to support the roof framing over the front covered porch. Either specify that the roof jacks ‘bear’ intermediately on the adjacent exterior wall or size the beam to support the full load.
